Reject UOW Review of WUSA

Your students' association is under threat from Gerard Sutton (VC) and Chris Grange (VP). They are threatening to tear down the existing representative organisations and replace them with a model that they develop.

Dear Professor Sutton,

Students at UOW deserve independent, autonomous representation that is not interfered with or imposed by UOW bureaucrats. We demand the right of the students' associations to self-determination, independence and adequate funding from the university to ensure vital services such as representation and advocacy are preserved. We call on you to enter into a serious dialogue with the current student bodies (WUSA & WUPA) to develop a memorandum of understanding which underpins adequate funding for essential welfare, representative and advocacy services.
