Your Rights

Your Rights

WUSA Representatives are directly elected by all students each year to stand up for students' rights on campus and in the wider community. WUSA also provides open collectives and forums whereby everyone can get involved in campaigns to fight for students' rights. WUSA is currently campaigning on such issues as:

Youth Allowance: WUSA is part of an ongoing campaign to raise Youth Allowance above the poverty line and make the payment accessible to all students who need it.

Course Cuts: WUSA has always campaigned against course cuts and faculty closures.

Concession Travel for International Students

WUSA also campaigns on broader issues that focus on higher education, the environment and students' rights at work. Come down to WUSA to find out how you can get involved and stand up for your rights!
